The competition is open to anyone.
Short description
The promoters of the competition are Porto City Council and Cityscopio-Cultural Association.
The theme of the competition is “A Contemporary Look at Architecture.”
“ The “Luis Ferreira Alves International Photography Competition | A Contemporary Look at Architecture” is a biennial event aimed at honoring Luis Ferreira Alves’ legacy. It invites photographers from around the world to capture unique perspectives on architecture.
Each submission must consist of a series of 5 to 7 photographs. It should also include a descriptive text that communicates the essence and concept of the depicted architectural work.
All projects must be submitted via the competition platform.
Entry fee
The competition is free to enter.
Prizes
• 1st Prize: 10,000 €
• 2nd Prize: 4,000 €
• 3rd Prize: voucher for photographic equipment worth 1.500 €
