The competition is open to adult authors of any nationality.

The competition is organized by La Casa Encendida and Fulgencio Pimentel.
The Puchi Award welcomes book proposals in comics, illustrated books, and hybrid projectswhere images are central to the storytelling.
” The book we refer to is a work in which images play a major role in the narrative or expository development of the work. This includes established artistic categories such as the illustrated album and the comic book, as well as hybrid avenues or those on the margins of the above. Anything is possible, as long as the image plays a leading role. Works without text, and the use of any type of image: illustrations, photos, collage or any other type of image, are accepted.
You may submit only finished works that have never been published.
Works may be written in any language, although a provisional translation into English of at least two pages must also be submitted.
Entry fee
The competition is free to enter.
Prize
The winner will receive a cash prize of 10,000 € and his work will be published and distributed by Fulgencio Pimentel.
