Entry is open to all photographers from anywhere in the world. Applicants must be age 16+
Short description
Belfast Photo Festival is an annual international festival of photography. The next edition will take place 5 – 30 June 2025 in Bellfast, Northern Ireland.
“ Belfast Photo Festival is one of the leading photography festivals in Europe and the largest annual international festival of photography in the UK and Ireland.
The Festival consists of exhibitions, talks, symposiums, workshops, screenings, masterclasses, portfolio reviews and tours.
You can submit both a photo-book and photographs from a particular series/body of work (up to 15 images).
Photographs can be on any theme.
Entry fees
The entry fee is 29 €.
Prizes
• Spotlight Award £2,000
• Spotlight Interview with representatives from world leading photographic institutions (e.g. TATE, MoMA, TIME, Pompidou, Aperture)
• Aesthetica Editorial Award – with editorial presentation in the digital issue of Aestheticainternational art and culture magazine
• 1 Year Royal Photographic Society Membership
All winners will be included in the 2025 Belfast Photo Festival Exhibitions Programme.
